Blinds have special treatments and coatings that give them stiffness and prevent wrinkling. Aggressive washing in a machine destroys these coatings — the material becomes soft, the blind hangs in folds and doesn't roll out evenly.
Pattern damage
Printed blinds, patterns, or ombre designs are especially vulnerable. Wrong temperature or detergent causes color fading, pattern washing out, or discoloration. Dark blinds lose intensity, light ones turn yellow.

Blinds collect enormous amounts of dust that settles deep into the fabric structure. First, we refresh the material using a gentle vacuum with a soft brush — this prevents rubbing dirt in even deeper during wet washing.

After drying, we press the blind through a thin protective cloth at a controlled temperature. This restores smoothness, eliminates minor creases, and reinforces the coating. We pay special attention to edges, which must be perfectly straight.
