How much does duvet washing cost?
Washing a synthetic duvet starts from 50 PLN, and the final price depends on size and filling - a down or wool duvet costs more than a light synthetic one, because it needs a different programme and longer drying. Pillows, blankets and sleeping bags are priced separately. You'll find all the ranges in our price list, and if you're unsure, just bring the duvet in - we'll weigh it, check it and give you an exact price.
How do I wash a down duvet without the filling clumping?
Down clumps when it dries too slowly or in a drum that's too small - and then the duvet never regains its shape. A home machine is usually too small, and balcony drying takes far too long. We wash in an industrial drum and dry with balls that break up the filling and restore the loft. You feel it the first night: the duvet is light and evenly warm again, not flat in some spots and thick in others.
Can I wash a duvet in a home washing machine?
A light synthetic duvet sometimes fits, but most king-size duvets simply don't - and one crammed in by force can't actually get clean, because water and detergent never reach the middle. Drying is the bigger problem: a thick duvet takes days to dry at home, and trapped moisture leads straight to mould and an odour you can't remove. Thick duvets are better left to a laundry with the right equipment.
How long does duvet washing take?
As standard, you get your duvet back clean in 48 hours - drop it off Monday, sleep under it fresh on Wednesday. If you need it sooner, we have a 24-hour express option. We also offer pickup and delivery across Lublin, so you don't have to haul a bulky duvet through the city - and we're glad to sort it out in English.
Do you wash only duvets, or bedding, pillows and blankets too?
We wash the whole sleep set: duvets, pillows, blankets, throws, sleeping bags and bed linen. It's worth handing everything over at once, because a pillow collects just as many mites and as much sweat as a duvet - people simply forget about it more often. That way the whole bed is genuinely clean, not just the top layer.
Does washing remove dust mites and allergens?
Yes, and it's the main reason people bring us their duvets. A single duvet can host up to two million dust mites, and a home machine never reaches the temperature that kills them.
