A dress after the wedding looks like the story of one night
Grass stains at the bottom. Red wine from the toast. Lipstick on the strap. Mud from the dance floor that after hours of dancing looks like a map of everywhere you've been.
Some brides want to keep the dress for their daughter. Others plan to sell it. And there are those who simply want to be sure the most important gown of their life won't turn beige in two years. Whatever the reason – the dress deserves more than a box in the closet.
What can go wrong cleaning a dress at home
Destroyed fabric
Tulle, lace and satin don't forgive mistakes. Too high temperature, wrong detergent or machine spin can irreversibly damage delicate fibres.
Yellowing over time
A white dress that wasn't thoroughly cleaned turns cream or beige. Usually from invisible stains of sweat, perfume or champagne that oxidize with time.
Falling embellishments
Beads, sequins, pearls and lace appliques are hand-sewn. With improper washing they fall off, discolour or lose their shine.
That's why we wash wedding dresses by hand, check every stain before washing and don't use chemicals that could damage the fabric or embellishments.
How we clean wedding dresses step by step
Every dress goes through 8 stages. No rush, no machines, no risks.
Thorough inspection

We check fabric type, finishing method and all embellishments. We look for hidden stains and weak points in the material that could get damaged during cleaning.

Stain testing

Every stain requires a different approach. Wine isn't the same as grass, and makeup isn't the same as mud. We test products on an invisible piece of fabric before we start removing stains.

Spot stain removal

We clean each stain by hand separately. We don't immerse the whole dress if it's not necessary. We use gentle products that don't destroy fabrics or colours.

Natural drying

The dress dries lying flat on special nets that don't deform the material. We don't hang, we don't wring, we don't use dryers. We simply wait.

Steaming

Hot steam removes wrinkles and refreshes fabrics without risk of burning. This is especially important with tulle, organza and delicate lace that can't handle contact with an iron.

Pressing (when necessary)

If the fabric requires pressing, we do it at low temperature through special protective cloth. We never press embellishments or appliques directly.

Why wash your dress with us, not at home
Because some things require more than Google and good intentions.
Experience with high-quality fabrics
We've been washing dresses for 15 years. We've seen hundreds of types of fabrics, appliques and stains. We know how not to destroy mikado, not to stretch tulle and not to discolour lace.
Handwork without machines
Your dress won't go in the washing machine. We do everything by hand, slowly and knowing that every thread matters. There's no assembly line or standard settings here.
Preparation for long-term storage
If you want to keep the dress for years, we pack it professionally in materials protecting against moisture and light. This way the dress won't change colour and won't degrade.
Safety guarantee

Wedding dress cleaning - frequently asked questions
How much it costs, how long it takes, and whether you can do it at home - honest answers.
How much does wedding dress cleaning cost?
Prices start from 290 PLN, but no two gowns are alike. A simple satin sheath is one job; a multi-layer tulle dress with a train, lace and hundreds of hand-sewn beads is another entirely. That's why we give the final price only after we've seen the dress. Bring it in or book a pickup, we'll examine it carefully and quote you a firm figure - no surprises when you collect it.
Can I clean my wedding dress at home or in the washing machine?
You can try, but it's the most expensive experiment there is - you can't buy the dress twice. A machine stretches tulle, tears off beads and can yellow lace for good. Even hand-washing in the tub leaves watermarks if you don't know how the fabric reacts to water and detergent. If the dress is meant to be a keepsake or resold, don't gamble the only copy to save a little money.
How do I keep a wedding dress from yellowing over time?
Yellowing isn't about visible dirt - it's the invisible stains of sweat, champagne and perfume that oxidize over months. A dress can look clean and still develop a beige collar and waist two years later. So we clean it thoroughly right after the wedding, then pack it in acid-free paper and a breathable box that shields it from moisture and light. That's the secret to a gown that still looks fresh in 20 years.
How long does wedding dress cleaning take?
We set the timing after inspection, because the dress dries flat and can't be rushed with a machine dryer without risk. Usually it's a few unhurried days. If you're against the clock - a sale, a photo shoot, a trip home - we offer an express service and will tell you upfront whether it's doable for your dress. We also offer pickup and delivery across Lublin, and yes, we're happy to help in English.
Can you remove wine, grass and makeup stains?
That's our daily bread. Red wine from the toast, grass from an outdoor shoot, foundation and lipstick on the neckline, mud from the dance floor - each stain needs its own product and temperature, so we test them first on a hidden scrap. The sooner a fresh stain reaches us, the better the chance it vanishes without a trace. Dried-in stains come out too; they just take more patience.
Do you also clean the veil and wedding accessories?
Yes. Veil, bolero, gloves, stole or an embellished sash - we'll inspect and price them together with the dress, and you'll find the rates in our price list. It's worth handing everything over at once, because a veil made of the same tulle can yellow just like the dress, and then the set stops looking like a set. One pickup, one visit, the whole wedding outfit clean and ready to store.
