Refreshing is generally quicker than a full wash, because the garment doesn't need to dry all the way through. We agree the deadline at drop-off and stick to it. The opposite - for many delicate fabrics, steam is safer than washing. There's no spinning, scrubbing or soaking to stretch or lighten the material.
